‘Horror Tales: The Beggar’ Available Today on Steam, Consoles [Trailer]

Nearly a month since the demo arrived, CarlosGameDev’s surreal horror game Horror Tales: The Beggar launches today on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series. The physical PS5 version of Horror Tales: The Beggar will arrive on June 26th, courtesy of Tesura Games, with pre-orders still open.

The physical PlayStation 5 version will include a digital copy of the first game in the series Horror Tales: The Wine, as well as an exclusive reversible cover and a glow-in-the-dark slipcover.

Meanwhile, the Steam version of Horror Tales: The Beggar will launch with a 40% discount.

The story for Horror Tales: The Beggar sees players step into the aftermath of a catastrophic event, where “terror and science fiction intertwine amidst the ruins of a shattered world.” Marked by “the dynamic fusion of physics-based combat and mind-bending puzzles” players will explore the remnants of a once-thriving civilization, now reduced to a treacherous landscape that’s now been shaped by the chaos of cataclysmic forces.

The main gameplay mechanic has players engage in physics-based combat that “adheres to the laws of the game world.” As a result, you’ll have to think strategically in order to adapt to the constantly shifting challenges, navigating the world where every action and reaction is governed by the principles of physics.
