Beetlejuice Scares up ‘MultiVersus’ on August 20 [Trailer]

It’s Showtime for MultiVersus! After being teased in the Season 2 reveal, Beetlejuice finally has his own trailer. And best of all, you’ll be able to play as The Ghost with the Most when he joins the MultiVersus roster on August 20, just in advance of Tim Burton‘s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice hitting theatres next month.

Beetlejuice is classified as an assassin class, who delivers his unique blend of undead charm, straight from the Afterlife. In the new trailer, the shapeshifting “Bio Exorcist” deploys ghoulish attacks and creepy-crawly companions, including his ability to summon beetles and sandworms to assist during battle, protrude spikes from all over his body to inflict pain, and charge up devastating overhead hammers to slam down on opponents.

And it just wouldn’t be Beetlejuice without a couple of costumes, would it? The trailer also shows off the Beetlejuice Matador variant, along with the Beetlejuice inspired Afterlife variants that will be available for a variety of MultiVersus characters in conjunction with Beetlejuice’s arrival later this month.

Meanwhile, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, starring Michael Keaton alongside Winona Ryder, with Jenna Ortega, Catherine O’Hara, Willem Dafoe and Monica Bellucci, arrives September 6 in theatres.

MultiVersus is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series , Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with full cross-play and cross-progression support.
