“Are you ready to hear about our Heavenly Father’s plan for you?”
A24 has released the second trailer for their upcoming horror film Heretic. The preview, which can be seen below, sets a spooky tone as two missionaries approach a house whose owner just might have a different opinion on religion.
Directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, Heretic stars Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East.
The official synopsis of the film reads “Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.”
Heretic had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival just a few short weeks ago with critics having praised the work of Hugh Grant in the film.
