‘Ballerina’ Official Trailer – Ana de Armas Enters the World of ‘John Wick’ in June 2025

In the wake of four hugely successful movies, the John Wick Cinematic Universe is getting its first spinoff movie with Ballerina, and the official trailer has arrived.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina starring Ana De Armas will release in theaters June 6, 2025, and the trailer reveals that Keanu Reeves will make an appearance.

Ballerina takes place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum

“The film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.”

Ana de Armas stars with Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, plus Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves.

Len Wiseman (Underworld, “Swamp Thing”) is directing the film franchise’s first spinoff movie. Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3) wrote the new movie’s script.

The John Wick Cinematic Universe also includes The Continental: From the World of John Wick, a spinoff television series that premiered on Peacock at this time last year.

Expanding the franchise’s world, the show tells the background story of how Winston Scott came to his position as proprietor of the New York branch of “The Continental” chain.
