Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!


A Nightmare on Elm Street 1-3 Vinyl from Mondo

A Nightmare on Elm Street, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, and A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors’ soundtracks are available on vinyl for $40 a piece from Mondo.

Each expanded 2xLP album features the original soundtrack on the first disc and additional themes and cues on the second disc. Shipping in November, they feature artwork by Mike Saputo.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is composed by Charles Bernstein (Cujo, April Fool’s Day). It’s pressed on 140-gram “Boiler Room Blast” colored vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket with liner notes by Bernstein.

Freddy’s Revenge is composed by Christopher Young (Hellraiser, Sinister). It’s pressed on 140-gram “Freddy Blast” colored vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket with liner notes by director Jack Sholder and actor Mark Patton.

Dream Warriors is composed by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive). It’s pressed on 140-gram “Hypnocil Dream Haze” colored vinyl and housed in a gatefold jacket with liner notes by actor Ira Heiden.


Demolition Man 4K UHD from Arrow Videoo

Demolition Man will be released on 4K Ultra HD on December 17 from Arrow Video. Both the the domestic “Taco Bell” and international “Pizza Hut” versions of the 1993 sci-fi action film are included via seamless branching.

Marco Brambilla directs from a script by Daniel Waters, Robert Reneau, and Peter M. Lenkov. Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, and Nigel Hawthorne star.

The film has been newly restored in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative, approved by Brambilla. The limited edition set comes with a 60-page book, a double-sided poster, six art cards, and two stickers.

Special features include: new commentary by Brambilla and Waters; new commentary by The Projection Booth podcast’s Mike White; commentary by Brambilla and producer Joel Silver; new interviews with production designer David L. Snyder, stunt coordinator Charles Percini, special make-up effects artist Chris Biggs, and body effects set coordinator Jeff Farley; and more.


The Crow Umbrella from Rucking Fotten

It can’t rain all the time, but just in case you should equip yourself with Rucking Fotten’s The Crow umbrella. Limited to 100, it costs $34.99.

The umbrella is part of an officially licensed The Crow 30th anniversary collection, which also includes shirts, jackets, hats, socks, and more. It’s only available through Sunday, October 6, and will ship in 6-8 weeks.


Uzumaki Vinyl from Milan Records

The soundtrack to Adult Swim’s anime adaptation of Junji Ito’s Uzumaki is coming to vinyl on November 15 via Milan Records. The score is composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

Priced at $31, the album is pressed on 180-gram black and white spiral picture disc vinyl. It’s housed in a jacket featuring new artwork by Ito, a 12×12 insert, and an obi strip.


Hollywood 90028 Blu-ray from Grindhouse Releasing

Hollywood 90028 will be released on Blu-ray on November 26 via Grindhouse Releasing. The 1973 exploitation flick has been newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative.

Also known as The Hollywood Hillside Strangler and Twisted Throats, the movie is written and directed by Christina Hornisher. Christopher Augustine, Jeannette Dilger, Dick Glass, and Gayle Davis star.

The three-disc set comes with a newly remastered soundtrack CD composed by Basil Poledouris (RoboCop, Conan the Barbarian) and a booklet of liner notes.

Special features include: commentary by film historians Marc E. Heuck and Heidi Honeycutt; commentary by film historian Shawn Langrick; interviews with Augustine, Dilger, Davis, editor Leon Ortiz-Gil, and Tom DeSimone; alternate scenes from the original X-rated version; 16mm short films by Hornisher; outtakes; and more.
