“Just keep your eyes on the monitors and keep people out. Piece of cake.“
Things are heating up at Freddy’s as Matthew Lillard and Josh Hutcherson will be retuning to the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
“It’s much bigger; the stakes are higher,” Hutcherson told Esquire. “There’s more animatronics being brought in, different animatronics being brought in, and the world just opens up in a big way.”
“It’s so over-the-top and wacky, in a way,” Hutcherson continued. “That to find the emotional truth of the characters was gonna be what was gonna work. I think the fans are gonna flip for it. It’s gonna be a lot of fun with the source. It’s gonna be scarier, too, actually.”
Directed by Emma Tammi, Five Nights at Freddy’s was released on October 27, 2023 and earned $297.1 million at the box office against a budget of only $20 million. The film starred Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Mary Stuart Masterson and Matthew Lillard.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, is scheduled to be released on December 5, 2025. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on Five Nights at Freddy’s.
