‘Please Don’t Feed The Children’ – First Images From Destry Allyn Spielberg’s Directing Debut Previews Michelle Dockery’s Villain

The upcoming post-apocalyptic horror movie Please Don’t Feed the Children will mark the feature directorial debut from Destry Allyn Spielberg, the daughter of Steven Spielberg. First-look images have arrived ahead of the film’s world premiere at Sitges this week, introducing Michelle Dockery’s psychotic character.

In Don’t Feed the Children, “after a viral outbreak ravaged the country’s adult population, a group of orphans heads south in search of a new life, only to find themselves at the mercy of a deranged woman harboring a dangerous secret.”

The new images highlight Dockery’s character, who looks a bit sinister and untrustworthy.

The film stars Michelle Dockery (Boy Kills World, The Gentlemen), Giancarlo Esposito (MaXXXine, Abigail), and an ensemble cast that includes Zoe Colletti (Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark), Dean Scott Vazquez (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts), Vernon Davis (Chariot, A Day To Die),  Emma Meisel (“American Horror Story: 1984”), Andrew Liner (“Vampire Academy”), Reagan Aliyah (Marvel’s “Ironheart”), and Joshuah Melnick (Saint X, Tesla).

Please Don’t Feed The Children is produced by Jason Dubin and his Perry Street Films, Josh Kesselman, Michael Hagerty, Bill Kenwright, and Daniel Ryniker.

The horror film was written by Paul Bertino.

“I am beyond thrilled to be premiering Please Don’t Feed The Children at the 57th annual Sitges International Film Festival. It’s an incredible honor to showcase our film alongside such visionary works. This movie was everything I needed to officially step into directing feature-length films. It came with all the exciting challenges that made me a stronger filmmaker and collaborator. We shot this in 18 days, and I am so proud of the entire cast and crew for coming together and proving that anything is possible. I couldn’t be more excited to share this experience with the world, Destry Allyn Spielberg said in a statement.

Spielberg’s feature directorial debut arrives in the wake of her brother Sawyer Spielberg starring in the Bloody Disgusting x Dark Star Pictures horror movie Honeydew. Considering Steven Spielberg began his feature filmmaking career with Universal’s made-for-TV movie Duel, horror has become a family affair.

Stay tuned for additional details as they arrive.
