‘Phasmophobia’ Surpasses 20 Million Sold Across PC, Consoles

On the heels of the “Crimson Eye” Halloween Community Event coinciding with the release of Phasmophobia on PlayStation and Xbox, Kinetic games has announced that the co-op horror title has now surpassed 20 million copies sold globally across PC and consoles. In fact, since Phasmophobia was released into Early Access on PlayStation and Xbox, it’s already racked up over 250,000 in sales to add to that total.

Originally entering into Early Access on Steam back in September 2020, Phasmophobia has become a phenomenon, attracting millions of players with its immersive gameplay, chilling atmosphere and its co-operative ghost hunting mechanics.

“We are absolutely thrilled to see Phasmophobia reach this incredible milestone of over 20 million copies sold,” said Daniel Knight, Managing Director & Lead Developer at Kinetic Games. “The journey has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s all thanks to our dedicated community of players who continue to share their passion for the game. We’re excited to keep expanding the Phasmophobia experience and look forward to what the future holds.”

Phasmophobia is available in Early Access on PC via Steam, PS5, PS VR2 and Xbox Series, with the full version expected later this year. The free Halloween Community Event, Crimson Eye, is available for all players until November 13th.
