Halsey is developing a horror comedy series at Amazon Prime Video, according to a report on Variety. She will serve as the creator, writer, and executive producer of Bloodlust for Amazon but is not going to star in the show. Ti West will direct the series in addition to being an executive producer.
Bloodlust will reunite Halsey and West. West recently wrote, directed, and produced the horror feature MaXXXine, the third film in the X film series, with Halsey appearing in the role of Tabby Martin.
While plot details are scarce at this moment, we can only presume, with the title of the series combined with Ti West onboard to direct, that the series could be very interesting to say the least.
West is well known to horror fans work his works in the genre which include the X series, The House of the Devil, and The Innkeepers.
