In a stunning bit of news, two legacy Scream actors have rejoined the cast. The question is, how will they be involved in the film as they both died in previous installments. Scott Foley (Scream 3, The Girls on the Bus) and Matthew Lillard (Scream, Scooby-Doo) have joined the cast of Scream 7 from Spyglass and Paramount Pictures, according to a report on Deadline.
Fans may recall that Roman Bridger (Foley) was killed after being shot in the head by Dewey in Scream 3. Stu Macher (Lillard) seemingly perished after being electrocuted when a TV was dropped on his head while dealing with severe stab wounds in the original Scream.
Foley and Lillard will join the previously announced legacy cast members Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox as well as Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown, alongside newcomers Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, Joel McHale and Mark Consuelos.
The film is slated to be released on February 27, 2026. Keep it locked to Horror News Network for more on Scream.
