Little Bat Games has given Vampire Therapist fans some new content ahead of Valentine’s Day with the new “Couples Therapy” DLC. Couples Therapy will explore themes of revolt, duty to humanity, and the complications that can arise from age gaps, though no therapist has ever encountered an age gap of several centuries before.
As the name implies, protagonist Sam Walls, now a vampire therapist extraordinaire, now seeks to help two vampires, battling with both domestic and personal struggles, as well as social discontentment following their demises during bloody revolutions in France and Iran.
On top of assisting the couple, this new content takes place during the annual Bachfest in Leipzig — home of Johann Sebastian Bach— where a ghost of Leipzig haunts the streets. It’s Sam’s job to track down the troubled soul between therapy sessions.
On top of the new content provided by Couples Therapy, the developer has fixed “a good number” of minor bugs in Vampire Therapist, including character positioning cleanups and correcting some font issues.
As for future plans, Little Bat Games announced that they’ve started pre-production work on their next title, though are keeping things close to the chest for the time being. As for Vampire Therapist, the team will have some “exciting” news in the near future.
If you haven’t checked out Vampire Therapist yet, a demo is still available on Steam.
