Fabio Frizzi is heading back out on the road with Zombie: Composer’s Cut.
The Italian composer will perform his reworked soundtrack to Lucio Fulci‘s 1979 cult classic live as the film screens for a second leg of North America tour dates in the spring.
“The September gallop was so beautiful that we thought to complete the tour in spring,” said Frizzi. “It will be once again Zombie: Composer’s Cut, the live score on the legendary film by Lucio Fulci, and then the usual foray into the other soundtracks. Frizzi serves as conductor and plays keyboard and acoustic guitar for the performance, joined by his Frizzi 2 Fulci bandmates: guitarists Riccardo Rocchi and Francesco Saguto, bassist Roberto Fasciani, drummer Federico Tacchi, and keyboardist Paolo Castellani.
The screening is followed by an encore consisting of cues from other Fulci favorites, including The Beyond, City of the Living Dead, Cat in the Brain, and The Psychic.
Zombie: Composer’s Cut is also available on vinyl from Cadabra Records.
