Originally produced by American Greetings in 1986, My Pet Monster is one of the great icons of the 1980s, and he’s set to make a return later this year courtesy of The Loyal Subjects.
The Loyal Subjects is working with My Pet Monster rights holders Hasbro on the new lineup of legacy products, with the company giving us our first look at Toy Fair 2025 over the weekend.
In addition to a brand new plush doll that brings the classic original blue doll back to life, we’re also getting a line of keychains as well as mini plush dolls with various different looks.

The original My Pet Monster doll spawned spinoff monster dolls, a live-action film and an animated series back in the day, with an upgraded talking version of the doll released in 2001.
More recently, companies including Funko and Super 7 have kept the brand alive.
