Wired Productions and developer Pollard Studio have unveiled a new demo for their upcoming psychological horror game KARMA: The Dark World ahead of its release next month. The demo is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro and Steam.
The KARMA: The Dark World demo invites players to step into the shoes of ROAM Agent Daniel McGovern, and see the investigation process as he explores the memories of a citizen accused of treachery, as well as the twisted environments and monstrous manifestations he encounters along the way. Meanwhile, the short-but-surreal trailer plays up the creepiness you’ll be encountering in the demo, as well as the full game.
Evoking the likes of David Lynch, Hideo Kojima, and Christopher Nolan, KARMA: The Dark World puts players into the shoes of McGovern, an agent for Leviathan Corp’s Thought Bureau, players are tasked with mind-diving into the memories of suspects. What begins as another routine investigation soon unravels into a dark conspiracy that challenges everything he believes. As McGovern navigates the minds of those he pursues, he must confront disturbing truths and question his own reality.
KARMA: The Dark World is arrives March 27 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5. The title will also launch on Xbox at a later date, with further details to be announced in the coming months.
