Snoring Dog Games announced their free point-and-click horror adventure game The Flayed Man last month, and for those who are looking to chip in a few bucks for the developer, you will be able to do so when the game launches next month with the supporter pack. Along with the supporter pack announcement, we’ve also gotten a new trailer for the game, which arrives on PC via Steam and itch.io on April 17.
Priced at $4.99 USD, the supporter pack consists of The Flayed Man Digital Artbook and The Flayed Man Soundtrack. Meanwhile, the new teaser trailer shows more glimpses of gameplay, as well as the game’s beautifully gory pixel art.
The Flayed Man sees you play as the eponymous Flayed Man, who awakens without memories (or skin) in a decayed, otherworldly house. Needless to say, it’s a pretty painful existence. You must uncover the sins of the past, pass judgement, and decide the Flayed Man’s fate. That fate depends on your choices, leading to one of several endings.
The Flayed Man features traditional point and click gameplay, with modern mechanics and user interface. The action will be accompanied by an appropriately atmospheric and moody soundtrack, which is hinted at in the new teaser. There are also “psychosexual demons” that, according to the Steam page, will give any budding psychologist food for thought.
