AMC has released the full official trailer for “The Walking Dead: Dead City” Season 2, and it’s packed with just about everything you’d expect from such a trailer. Negan wielding a barbed wire baseball bat, Maggie wrestling with her Negan-fucked past, and zombies rampaging through a decaying NYC. But it’s also got an angry bear. And we didn’t see that coming.
“The Walking Dead: Dead City” Season 2 premieres May 4 on AMC and AMC+.

“The Walking Dead: Dead City” follows the popular Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.
In Season 2, in the growing war for control of Manhattan, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.
The series also stars Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek, Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon, Lisa Emery, Logan Kim, Dascha Polanco and Kim Coates, amongst others.
Eli Jorné, who has been a writer and co-executive producer on “The Walking Dead” for multiple seasons, serves as showrunner and executive producer on the spinoff series.
