Paradox Interactive has once again delayed Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, pushing it further into 2025 from its original “first half of 2025” estimate. The long-awaited RPG will instead (fittingly) arrive in October 2025. Paradox Interactive released a new video explaining the current state of the game’s development, which according to executive producer Marco Behrmann, is “done”, but requires testing for bug fixing, stability, and performance.
Per the post to the game’s Steam page, Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room are committed to delivering this game, and that “ensuring great technical quality” is more important than sticking to a specific date.
The game is currently in a late development stage, having taken into account community feedback. The Chinese Room is working hard on quality assurance to “ensure it is stable and free of bugs that could disrupt the player experience.”
“The status of the game right now is that the game is done,” explains Behrmann. “We are currently focusing on bug fixing, stability, and performance so that we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases. Bloodlines 2 will release in October this year. In the meantime, please join us on Discord for any questions or updates.”
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is currently in slated for release on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG.com, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series.
