Retro 80s Action Title ‘The Happyhills Homicide 2: Out For Blood’ Out Now [Trailer]

If you’re in the mood for some pixelated horror on the cheap, developer/publisher Copperbolt has just what you need with their 80s horror tribute action title, The Happyhills Homicide 2: Out For Blood. The follow-up to the 2024 (and free!) original, Out For Blood is out now on Steam with a 15% discount until April 10.

The Happyhills Homicide 2: Out For Blood sees the return of mass serial killer John Wade, aka Pale Grin, as he returns from the grave to slaughter once again the residents of Happyhills. This time, John has more on his mind than simple killing.

And once again, detective Bryan Pawalski is back in action to take down John once and for all. However, a new player has arrived on the scene in Mr. Carpenter. This man has set out on a path of vengeance, seeking to avenge the death of his beloved daughter, Madison.

You’ll play as all three characters, with each having their own different playstyle to mix up the gameplay spread out across 20 levels. As John Wade, you’ll be solving “puzzles” of just how to kill your foes, with each kill being unique, along with the murder weapons. As Bryan Pawalski, you’ll be utilizing your detective skills to find important clues and get one step closer to John Wade. Finally, you quest for revenge as Mr. Carpenter has you and your sawed-off shotgun making choices as to who lives and who dies.
